Compliance by Design
Regulatory, quality and market requirements are integrated into the project structure from the outset rather than addressed at the end of the process.
CHK Solutions is an international strategic advisory company focused on medical cannabis and pharmaceutical markets.
Founded in Barcelona in 2017, CHK Solutions builds on more than a decade of industry experience across international cannabis markets, operators, technologies and regulatory environments.
Having evolved alongside the industry, CHK has progressively focused its expertise on regulated medical cannabis and pharmaceutical supply chains, combining strategic, operational and market experience developed across Europe, North America, Africa and Asia.
Today, CHK Solutions advises licensed operators, investors and project owners on the design, structuring and development of market-ready projects across regulated international markets.
Our role is strategic: we define the framework, align the required capabilities and coordinate with qualified operators, manufacturers, regulatory specialists and market-access partners according to the requirements of each project and destination market.
Regulatory, quality and market requirements are integrated into the project structure from the outset rather than addressed at the end of the process.
Projects are structured backwards from the requirements of the destination market, downstream pharmaceutical pathway and commercial objective.
Cultivation, processing, manufacturing, logistics and market access are considered as one coordinated pathway rather than isolated functions.
Projects, partnerships and operational models are structured with scalability, resilience and long-term strategic value in mind.
STRATEGY, REPRESENTATION & COMPLIANCE ENABLEMENT
CHK Consulting supports licensed operators, investors and project owners in structuring compliant, market-ready projects across regulated international markets.
We combine strategic advisory with practical industry experience to define the right market position, regulatory pathway, supply-chain model and partner ecosystem for each project.
CHK does not replace licensed operators. We structure the framework, align the relevant parties and support projects from strategic definition through market readiness.
We ensure that projects are designed correctly from the outset and executed through qualified, licensed and proven partners.
We define clear, realistic and market-driven strategies based on each project’s objectives, jurisdiction, product category and target market.
Our work includes market-entry strategy, product positioning, portfolio development, commercial roadmaps, partner selection and long-term project structuring.
Objective: build projects around real market requirements and commercially viable pathways.
We design and coordinate international supply-chain models connecting cultivation, processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, logistics and regulated market access.
Our approach starts with the requirements of the destination market and works backwards to ensure that each stage of the supply chain is compatible with the intended regulatory and commercial pathway.
Where required, CHK coordinates with qualified cultivation partners, manufacturers, importers, GDP operators, distributors and market-access partners.
Objective: create an execution-ready pathway from source to regulated market.
We structure regulatory and quality pathways aligned with the requirements of regulated medical cannabis and pharmaceutical markets.
Our work includes GACP readiness, EU-GMP pathway definition, GDP architecture, documentation and traceability requirements, quality-system alignment and coordination with qualified regulatory specialists, auditors and pharmaceutical operators.
Objective: integrate compliance into the project architecture from the beginning and reduce regulatory and operational risk before execution.
CHK acts as a strategic interface between projects and the international regulated cannabis ecosystem.
We support representation toward qualified operators, manufacturers, distributors, investors and market-access partners, together with strategic introductions, relationship development and commercial coordination.
CHK also helps align expectations between the different parties involved in international projects while maintaining clear responsibilities and regulatory boundaries.
Objective: connect projects with the right international partners and facilitate credible, structured market development.
CHK supports genetics sourcing, cultivar selection and cultivation strategy for regulated medical markets.
Our work focuses on genetic stability, reproducibility, agronomic performance, quality requirements, cultivation consistency and long-term market positioning.
We also support cultivation model design, phenohunting strategy, propagation planning and alignment between genetics, cultivation methods and downstream product objectives.
Objective: ensure that genetics and cultivation strategy support both regulatory requirements and commercial positioning.
MEDICAL & PHARMACEUTICAL PLATFORM
Building Integrated Access to Medical Cannabis & Pharmaceutical Markets
CHK Pharma is a strategic medical cannabis and pharmaceutical platform developed by CHK Solutions.
Built on CHK’s international network and regulatory expertise, the platform connects qualified cultivation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality, logistics and market-access capabilities across Europe and Asia.
CHK Pharma is designed to coordinate compliant international supply chains from source to regulated market, while remaining asset-light and working through selected licensed operators and strategic partners.
CHK Pharma is a separate legal entity.
CHK Pharma integrates the key components required to build compliant international medical cannabis supply chains:
Identification and qualification of cultivation partners capable of meeting regulated medical market requirements.
Cultivation programs structured around traceability, quality systems, documentation and international GACP expectations.
Integration with qualified pharmaceutical manufacturers for processing, packaging, testing and release pathways.
Coordination with licensed logistics and distribution infrastructure for compliant cross-border movements.
Development of market-specific regulatory pathways in coordination with qualified pharmaceutical and regulatory partners.
Connection of compliant products with licensed importers, distributors, pharmacies and medical-market platforms.
Each route starts with a defined product and destination market. Product requirements, documentation and the responsible authorised operators are assessed before the route progresses.
CHK Pharma coordinates the interfaces between each stage of the supply chain, ensuring that product strategy, quality requirements, regulatory pathways and commercial objectives are aligned from the outset. The applicable route depends on the product and destination market. Regulated activities remain the responsibility of the operators holding the relevant authorisations.
The platform's product scope covers the following categories, with manufacturing and regulated activities performed by appropriately authorised partners. Availability is assessed for each product and destination market.
Qualified medical cannabis flower for regulated international markets.
GACP-aligned starting material for downstream EU-GMP processing.
Qualified biomass for cannabinoid extraction and pharmaceutical processing.
Crude extracts, distillates, isolates and other pharmaceutical intermediates through qualified partners.
Development and access to finished dosage forms through licensed manufacturing partners.
Development of selected medical cannabis products and future proprietary or private-label portfolios.
CHK Pharma is developing supply and market-access capabilities across selected regulated markets, with a particular focus on:
Additional regulated markets under development
CHK has conducted extensive market mapping across Thailand, assessing more than 50 cultivation and processing operations with a focus on infrastructure, quality systems, compliance readiness, scalability and international market potential.
This field-driven approach allows CHK Pharma to identify and develop supply relationships with operators capable of progressing toward international medical and pharmaceutical requirements.
Access to qualified cultivation and production opportunities across multiple international markets.
Connection with EU-GMP manufacturing, laboratories, QPs, GDP and licensed pharmaceutical infrastructure.
Supply chains structured backwards from the requirements of the destination market.
Commercial relationships and market infrastructure connecting qualified supply with regulated demand.
CHK Pharma brings together the regulatory, commercial and international capabilities developed by CHK Solutions over more than a decade in the global cannabis industry.
From cultivation and genetics to processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing and international market development, CHK Pharma represents the operational application of CHK Solutions’ strategic expertise.

Our objective is to build a scalable international medical cannabis platform connecting high-quality global supply with regulated pharmaceutical markets.
By integrating specialised partners rather than duplicating infrastructure, CHK Pharma is designed to create an efficient, resilient and internationally scalable supply-chain model.
For strategic partnerships, supply opportunities and regulated market development:
From hands-on cannabis operations and early North American market immersion to regulated medical and pharmaceutical supply chains, CHK has evolved alongside the international cannabis industry for more than a decade.
The foundations of CHK’s industry experience began with the creation of Choko Barcelona, one of Barcelona’s pioneering cannabis social clubs.
Over the following years, Choko developed into an international meeting point for entrepreneurs, investors, operators and early cannabis industry leaders from Europe and North America.
Choko Barcelona hosted an Arcview gathering bringing together influential figures from the emerging North American and European cannabis industries.
This period created direct relationships with people including:
Several of these relationships would later become part of the wider CHK international network.
Through the relationship with Lorne Gertner and the Tokyo Smoke ecosystem, we gained direct exposure to Canada’s emerging regulated cannabis market.
This included visits to major licensed cultivation and production operators including:
The objective was to understand licensed production, corporate cannabis structures, branding, retail models and the development of a nationally regulated market.
We then expanded the work into California.
This included direct engagement with Steve DeAngelo and the Harborside ecosystem, combined with extensive travel and site visits across California.
We visited large cultivation operations, extraction facilities, laboratories, dispensaries and vertically integrated cannabis businesses, including major cultivation operations around Salinas.
This was not simply networking. The objective was to understand the entire legal cannabis ecosystem first-hand:
CHK Solutions was formally established in Barcelona in 2017 to connect international expertise, technologies, brands and market opportunities across the rapidly professionalising global cannabis industry.
During this phase, CHK expanded its activities across Europe and North America.
Our activities included:
international brand representation, cultivation technologies, processing equipment, extraction systems, logistics, distribution, product development, white label and European market entry.
From 2022, CHK moved deeper into regulated medical cannabis.
We conducted extensive visits and assessments of medical cannabis operations, particularly in Portugal, analysing cultivation sites, infrastructure, GACP readiness, processing, quality systems and pharmaceutical pathways.
This marked the transition from the wider cannabis industry into regulated medical and pharmaceutical supply chains.
From 2024, CHK established an active presence in Morocco.
CHK has provided strategic advisory and project structuring support to Moroccan cannabis companies.
The work includes operational structuring, international positioning, compliance readiness and preparation for regulated medical markets.
In 2025, CHK began an extensive analysis of the Thai cannabis industry.
The objective was not simply to source flowers but to understand the entire ecosystem and identify which operators had the infrastructure, management, quality and scalability required to participate in future regulated international markets.
CHK visited and assessed more than 50 farms and cannabis operations across Thailand.
We analysed:
This enabled us to identify the operators best positioned to participate in future medical and pharmaceutical supply chains.
CHK Pharma is the strategic medical cannabis and pharmaceutical platform developed by CHK Solutions, connecting supply chain planning with market requirements.
Selected companies, technologies and brands we have worked with throughout CHK’s development.
Historical brands and technologies we worked with included, among others:
For the brands listed below, CHK acted as a European representative and/or was among the first to bring them to the European market.
Historical inclusion does not indicate a current partnership, endorsement or exclusive relationship.
During this period, we also developed a strong relationship with Steep Hill Labs and Dr. Reggie Gaudino.
This provided early exposure to cannabis analytics, laboratory testing, cannabinoid and terpene data, genetics and evidence-based cannabis education.
This scientific and data-driven approach became an important part of CHK’s understanding of quality and professionalisation within the cannabis industry.
Meetings and site visits with Ned Fussell, co-founder of CannaCraft, gave us direct exposure to vertically integrated cannabis businesses.
We studied how cultivation, manufacturing, product development, brand architecture and commercialisation could operate within one integrated business model.
During the same period, CHK developed relationships with leading California brands and operators including:
This gave us direct exposure to premium flower positioning, extraction, concentrates, product innovation and brand development.
During this period, CHK also worked on:
This history is useful because it demonstrates that CHK has worked across almost the entire cannabis value chain.
Years of participation in international industry forums have connected the CHK team with operators, technologies and emerging regulatory models.
CHK supported the Arcview Investor Forum in Barcelona in 2017.
This was one of the early milestones positioning CHK within the international cannabis investment and business ecosystem.
CHK has maintained a presence at MJBizCon since 2017.
This has allowed us to remain directly connected with international operators, investors, brands, technology companies and industry leaders.
CHK had a multi-year presence at Spannabis as sponsor and exhibitor.
We had dedicated booths presenting international brands, cultivation technologies, processing equipment and partners.
CHK has also maintained a long-standing presence within the ICBC ecosystem in Barcelona and Berlin, including industry networking and speaking engagements.
CHK became one of the founding members of Spain’s first Expogrow B2B cannabis industry networking event.
CHK brought Steep Hill Labs and Dr. Reggie Gaudino to Barcelona and facilitated engagement between the international cannabis industry and established Spanish pharmaceutical and laboratory organisations, including Alcaliber.
With a multicultural, multilinguistic and multi-disciplinary team and the collaboration of our partners around the world, we are able to operate on an international level.
